Fans gathered online to mourn one of their favourite characters, not just on The 100, but of all time. Ian brought an incredible light and humanity to Councillor Marcus Kane. He will be forever remembered, and held tightly in our hearts.

Twitter was filled with tributes of art, and music, and videos. Those who wished to, honoured Ian by including #ThankYouIan in their Twitter usernames. There have been many tears shed, many good memories shared, and Marcus Kane’s legacy lives on.

One of the best video tributes came from kaz. @Kazza169 out of Melbourne, Victoria:

“I honestly wanted to weep the entire time I was making this. I don’t have any more words to describe how much I adored Marcus. Forever grateful @hicusick got to play him. He’ll live on forever in my heart.”

Our thanks to all the fans now and over the years, who show Ian such love and respect. He reflects that back to his fans, and he is humbled by your support!
