Yesterday, Christians celebrated Palm Sunday, which is the start of Holy Week:

“Palm Sunday is a Christian moveable feast that falls on the Sunday before Easter. The feast commemorates Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem, an event mentioned in each of the four canonical Gospels.”

Lent and Holy Week are great times to watch Ian’s inspiring portrayal of Jesus of Nazareth (Jesus Christ) in The Gospel of John film. The story, beautifully narrated by Christopher Plummer, is a word-for-word retelling of John’s Gospel. There is a 2-hour abridged version, and a 3-hour unabridged version. Fans of HIC were delighted and entertained Friday, watching Russ Taylor and gang operate. Russ gave us some fun Russ-isms, and was deep in his English sensibilities. He was commanding, compelling, relentless and gave us a bit of a treat. Though Russ may not be a character who wears a black wrist band, Ian gave us some unbuttoned shirt memorabilia, and that spoke volumes!

He usually live tweets during the 8/7c showing, and last week he did it blind, because he’s on Oahu, and it is 5 hours earlier there. But it’s always great fun. Tomorrow night, we get some Russ Taylor…and some Jeri Ryan. Everyone is so excited for this episode.
