Due to the global health crisis with COVID-19, CBS and MacGyver did the correct thing by shutting down production for the season. We are not certain what the rest of the season will mean for viewers. There is speculation we will only see part of what had been filmed for Season 4 this spring, and perhaps the rest at the start of Season 5. We will take anything we can get, with pleasure. It has been a fantastic season!

Ian posted some fun photos and videos as he departed Atlanta for Hawaii, with he and Annie showing the appropriate protections inflight. He then delighted us with music, a sweet thank you & goodbye, and an uplifting message to “stay safe, stay home.” Also, a wee bit o’exercise to keep us healthy!

Posting both Ian’s original, upside down version, which was most likely on purpose because he and Annie are silly, fun people, and a corrected version.

We were thrilled to see Ian give his loyal fans a shoutout by wearing the black bands, a direct signal that he is thinking of us. Thank you, Ian…you are the best!

Ian as Russ gave us so many layers of this interesting and complex man. We see him as a military man, a lover, a skilled negotiator. He also clearly defined himself as the boss of Team Phoenix. We thank Ian for his exciting and entertaining performance, one that will stand out for us fans for years to come.
