Despite the trying times of this past year, we have so much for which we have gratitude. We have a new season of HIC’s show, MacGyver, starting next Friday. We have a healthy, happy HIC sharing himself with his fans, via video greetings or a virtual Con. We have new HIC projects coming ala Awaken and The Wind and The Reckoning. And we know we have Ian’s love and appreciation for our support. CG gives our own thanks – to our fun, funny, creative and endlessly active fandom, and to our favourite guy!

We dreamed for it at home, and it came true! Ian was a complete delight during last weekend’s virtual Con @dreamitcon #DreamItAtHome5. Fans participated in a Panel Q&A discussion (fans on audio with video of Ian answering), Group Meetings (Zoom chat rooms with Ian and up to 30 fans), and some 3-on-1 and 1-on-1 video chats with our guy. He recorded personalized greetings for those who chose that option.

Everyone had a very good time, as the pictures and social media responses attest! Since we can’t see Ian in person presently, this really hit the spot, and also many fans who would not be able to travel to a physical Con were able to finally meet our guy. We hope there are more of these virtual cons in our future. Thank you, Ian, for being so great and such fun. We love you endlessly!

Their Indiegogo campaign ended 10/31/20 with a target of $65,000.00 to complete the film in the best ways possible, and that goal was achieved. That is such an exciting thing, and the cast and makers sent their thanks via video. Enclosing Ian’s part here. This was filmed before he left the island for the mainland. It is still possible to contribute to the film’s process.
