This episode was full of action and excellent acting. We are introduced to new Phoenix recruit, Eli Thomas, played wonderfully by Ben Wang in his first role. We are excited to see more of this character in the future. It was also good to see Bill Smitrovich, long-time character actor we fondly remember from his role as dad Drew Thatcher on ‘Life Goes On’ (1989-93).

We got to see Russ Taylor looking smashing as he held a protective role over Eli, using his psy-ops, driving and security skills. It was great to see Russ and Matty Webber (Meredith Eaton) work so closely together again. Watching their interplay is always a fan delight. Directed by and co-starring the talented Peter Weller as Elliot Mason, we thoroughly enjoyed this eppy.

We are also really looking forward to an upcoming episode on Friday, January 21. In 5.06 Quarantine + N95 + Landline + Telescope + Social Distance, we get to meet Russ Taylor’s new love interest, Sofia Walker. This week, we learned that she will be played by Brit Camilla Arfwedson @CamillArfwedson. We think she looks like a good match for “tussling” with our Russ.

If you loved seeing Henry Ian Cusick’s Desmond romance Penny on Lost, just wait until you see him “stuck” in quarantine with Sofia Walker (played by Holby City‘s Camilla Arfwedson). I mean, there’s sword play, fierce drumming, rocking out…. All told, Russ’ romantic fling takes on a longer, and more complicated, turn when they then quarantine together. Meanwhile, Mac, Bozer and Riley witness from their own bubble — and then try to stop — a crime in progress at a neighbor’s house.
