We are not sure we will ever know, but it sure was cute to see Russ fumble around with 2 blankets while checking in with the team from the jet. It could be a worrisome storyline for Russ (is he sick?) or perhaps just an HIC impromptu prop maneuver, to keep the scene more interesting. We didn’t get to see much of Dr. Basco Fox (Alain Uy) and, alas, no screen time with HIC.

Next week’s eppy is a repeat of 5.01, with the team undercover at The Zurich Grand hotel. It is a great episode! The following week, on 4/30, is the finale of the season and the series…unless MacGyver gets a reprieve. The fans are campaigning for one more season to wrap things up for the team. We aren’t sure if they have any onscreen time together, but we are so excited to know that Alain was in Atlanta with Ian. If Alain’s previous BTS pics and vids tell the story, they were always having fun together on the set of The Passage. Additionally, the campaign to #SaveMacGyver continues and is very impressive. We hope that it is able to make a difference and contribute to some sort of continuation…no one is ready to say goodbye quite yet.
