It was a lovely send-off for Team Phoenix in this Season and Series Finale. The door was left open for The Phoenix Foundation to operate independently from the US government. We love that this cast and crew became like family to one another, and to the fans.

HIC as Russ Taylor, who, as a diversion, gave us a most comical parody of a southern cowboy-type character spouting off about being an American and owning “this here piece of lawn.” It was over the top and hilarious. There was a significant amount of information in Monica Macer’s post-show interview. She revealed some of what the scenarios were for Season 6, including plans for Russ to engage in that hoped-for treasure hunt with Sofia, and how a MacRiley romance would ensue. How the team moves forward now remains in our imaginations.
