…it was the beginning of Season 3 of LOST?

Ian had hit it out of the park in the Season 2 finale…making us fans over-the-top happy that Desmond had not only survived but returned to the Losties.

His performance was so amazing that he earned an Emmy nomination for Guest Actor.

We found out Ian had gotten married over the summer (2006), and was moving with his family to Hawaii…as a regular cast member!!

When this EW article…and this photo…appeared, we had been pining for any information about Desmond in Season 3.

We were so very excited to see his lovely self featured in this spread for the new season…
