Great news for fans of Ian’s current show, The 100!

We learned on Monday the show has been renewed for it’s 6th season, after only premiering season 5 two weeks ago!

Well done, Jason Rothenberg and cast and crew.  We hope that means we’ll be seeing more of our favorite character, Marcus Kane!

We don’t see him enough and we miss Ian’s talent and presence on the screen during the weeks he’s not in an episode!  Call us biased…… :)

‘The 100 Renewed For Season 6 By The CW’

Recently Ian recorded a greeting for the SCiFi London film festival Chimera attendees, which was played before the film started.  Ian did a special shout out to sister, Marcie who attended and also to some of the OldiesKru fan group who were in attendance too!  Watch the video below:

Following the London screening, Chimera traveled to Bilbao, Spain for the Bilbao Film Festival and to HIC fans’s delight, Ian recorded another video greeting for their Chimera viewers as well…..all in Spanish! Ian was born in Peru, and Spanish was his first language and we’ve heard him speak it before…..but we believe this to be the longest amount of dialogue for our ears! Thank you Ian and thank you to Team Chimera for sharing it with us all!

We asked our Spanish sistah, Elena to translate Ian’s greeting for his English speaking fans and we’ve written it below. Thank you again Elena for translating for us! xx

“Hello and welcome to Fant Bilbao. My name is Henry Ian Cusick and I’m the main character, Peter Quint, in the movie Chimera that you are going to see tonight.

Directed and written by my friend Maurice Haeems. Hi Maurice, how are you?

I’ve very proud of being on this film. I’m sorry I can’t be there with you tonight, but I hope you enjoy the movie. So greetings, thank you and aloha!”

The 100 premiered it’s 5th season last week on April 24 with their episode ‘Eden’…..however there was no sign of Kane!

As we had previously been told, when the show returned there has been a 6 year time jump forward.

Both Kane and Abby will be seen in episode 2 titled, ‘Red Queen’, which will focus on what’s been happening in the bunker for the past 6 years.

HIC fans were treated to this preview trailer for the upcoming episode which airs May 1st……and you can be sure we’ll be watching!
