Palm Sunday, Holy Week, and The Gospel of John

Gospel of John,HIC's in there 6 April 2020 | 1 Comment

Yesterday, Christians celebrated Palm Sunday, which is the start of Holy Week:

“Palm Sunday is a Christian moveable feast that falls on the Sunday before Easter. The feast commemorates Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem, an event mentioned in each of the four canonical Gospels.”

Lent and Holy Week are great times to watch Ian’s inspiring portrayal of Jesus of Nazareth (Jesus Christ) in The Gospel of John film. The story, beautifully narrated by Christopher Plummer, is a word-for-word retelling of John’s Gospel. There is a 2-hour abridged version, and a 3-hour unabridged version. The entire film can be seen on the embedded video here. The second link allows for the film to be downloaded, or watched in smaller clips.
